Calendar Assistant Agreement

Calendar Assistants help keep assigned calendars useful, accurate and trustworthy.

Last updated: 7 September 2026

Your responsibility

You may update only calendars assigned to your account. You must enter the complete lecture timetable for every calendar you manage, keep it accurate when lectures change, correct mistakes promptly and avoid duplicate events. Important academic information should come from a reliable departmental or University source.

Access and security

Do not share your login or let another person use your Assistant permissions. Do not export, disclose or misuse user information. Report suspicious access or serious calendar errors to Admin immediately.

Content standards

Calendar entries must relate to the calendar’s audience and must not be unlawful, discriminatory, misleading, promotional spam or an infringement of another person’s rights. Admin may review, change, reject or remove entries.

Accuracy reviews and warnings

Admin may periodically check a timetable against a reliable departmental or University source. If important events are missing, incorrect or neglected, the Assistant will normally receive a formal warning explaining what must be corrected. The Assistant has seven days to correct the timetable and report the correction for Admin review. If the timetable remains neglected after that period, Admin may remove calendar access and will record the reason.

Earnings

Eligible advertising revenue may generate Assistant earnings at the percentage displayed in the dashboard when the verified view occurs. If multiple active Assistants manage a calendar, that calendar’s Assistant share is divided equally. Previously recorded earnings are not changed when the future percentage changes.

Payout requests are available after the displayed minimum is reached. A request may be reviewed, held or declined. After Admin approves a payout request, payment is submitted securely through Paystack and recorded as paid only after Paystack confirms success.

Status

Being a Calendar Assistant does not by itself create employment, partnership or authority to represent the University or Uniben Calendar. Admin may remove access if an Assistant fails to enter or maintain the lecture timetable, becomes inactive, provides unreliable updates, creates a security concern or breaches this agreement. Once calendar access is removed, the Assistant stops earning future revenue from that calendar. Properly recorded earnings from before removal remain subject to the payout process.
